Perumnas Klender Market Applies Odd-Even Kiosk System

In order to prevent COVID-19 transmission and support the transitional PSBB policy, management of Perumnas Klender Market, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta applies odd-even system in operating kiosks at the market.

It is not only applied in Perumnas Klender Market, but also in all traditional markets in Jakarta

Not only applying odd-even system, management also ensures to carry out COVID-19 prevention protocols by checking visitor's body temperature before entering market and make sure the visitors to wash their hands with soap or hand sanitizer and maintain physical distance with the others.

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin also attended on the first day of odd-even kiosks system implementation at Perumnas Klender Market, on Monday (6/15).

Pasar Jaya Temporarily Closes 19 Markets

"It is not only applied at Perumnas Klender Market, but also in all traditional markets in Jakarta. Starting today, odd-even system will be applied where merchants with odd number kiosk only open at odd date and vice versa. We will make sure health protocols to be implemented by all," he asserted on the location.

By implementing this policy, he expected, merchants and visitors can feel safer and comfortable in the market. His side also reminds people to stay at home as much as possible.

"Markets under Perumda Pasar Jaya also facilitates Jakartans via online shopping service. Market operational hour will be limited from 6 AM to 2 PM," he explained.
